When your project demands a reliable indoor joint sealant, the right acrylic sealant construction grade product can make or break your schedule—and your budget. At Jiaobao, we manufacture a one-part RTV acrylic sealant with 0mm sag on vertical surfaces, a skin dry time of just 0.5 hours, and full paintability after cure. Available in 300ml cartridges and 600ml sausage packs in White, Black, Grey, or custom colors, this water-based formula is engineered for door and window perimeter sealing, drywall joints, and interior masonry gaps—exactly what demanding construction procurement teams need.
Not all sealants perform the same way indoors. A construction-grade acrylic formulation is specifically engineered to bond to porous substrates—concrete, plasterboard, brick—without a primer, which standard DIY caulks simply cannot do reliably.
Construction-grade acrylic sealants carry a solids content typically between 75% and 85%, which limits shrinkage during water-evaporation curing. Jiaobao's formula achieves a tensile strength of 0.64 MPa at 23°C, exceeding the 0.6 MPa benchmark under JC/T 484. Its elongation at break exceeds 200%, allowing the bead to flex with thermal expansion cycles rather than crack.
Because the formula is water-based and solvent-free, it produces negligible VOC emissions—an important factor for occupied buildings and LEED-tracked projects. The product performs reliably across a service range of -20°C to +80°C, covering standard HVAC-controlled interior environments. Workers can apply it in confined spaces without special respiratory equipment, which speeds up room-by-room finishing schedules.
Standard decorator caulks shrink excessively and lose adhesion within 12–18 months on high-movement joints. Acrylic sealant construction grade is a proper latex sealant compound meeting ASTM C834 or JC/T 484, which tolerates ±12.5% joint movement and prevents the hairline cracking that triggers rework claims. Choosing the correct grade from the start protects the entire finish coat investment.

How you use something has a direct effect on how long it lasts. If the surface is dirty, wet, or sticky when the sealant is put on, it won't last long. Any sealer will not work.
On surfaces that can soak up water, like raw concrete or gypsum board, a fine mist of water helps the first wet-out step. Before you gun it, make sure the surface is dry. To keep the lines straight, put masking tape on both sides of any narrow joints. If you're going to paint the finish coat right away, this is even more important.
It's time to use the cartridge in a regular caulking gun, which can be either mechanical or operated by hand. To fit the joint's width, cut the tip at a 45-degree angle. Don't make it bigger than it needs to be, though, so that the joint doesn't get too full. Jiaobao's extrusion rate of 163 ml/min is faster than the normal rate of 80 ml/min. This means that a trained worker can move slowly without stopping, which keeps their joints from getting cold during long walks. While the surface is still open, you have five minutes to work on the bead.
Skin dries in thirty minutes at 23°C and 50% relative humidity for acrylic sealant construction grade. In places with a lot of humidity in the winter, wait up to 45 minutes before painting. If you put it on below 5°C or where there is direct airflow from open windows, the surface will get wrinkled. Paint needs about 24 hours to fully cure physically when it is kept inside at room temperature.
This question comes up a lot: would silicone or polyurethane work better for a certain project? To be honest, it depends on how quickly the work needs to be done.
The silicone seals let things move (±25%) better and keep water out better, but paint doesn't stick to them at all, which is a big problem when walls get two or more coats of paint. Once they are dry, acrylic seals can be used right away with latex and emulsion paints. This means that when the room is finished, there are no more noticeable joint lines. If you want to cover windows and drywall inside your home, acrylic is still the best choice because it can be painted.
If you use polyurethane sealants in a small space, make sure there is enough air flow because they contain isocyanate chemicals that can damage surfaces. On top of that, each square meter costs a lot more. Acrylic paints are less expensive and don't have any solvents in them, so you can use them inside on normal wood, brick, and plaster frames. This helps keep costs down and makes it easier to follow safety rules.
Most painter's glue from the past is less than 60% solids, shrinks a lot, and cracks after just two heating seasons. It is possible to figure out how long a joint will last for a construction-grade product that has at least 75% solids and proven elongation data. For big jobs where redoing costs a lot, it's best to set the right grade from the start to save money.
For procurement teams that are in charge of multi-building contracts, the sourcing strategy affects both the unit cost and the dependability of the schedule. Here are the most important things you should check before you sign a supply deal.
It is important for a seller approval package to have three things: an ISO-compliant quality certificate, a test report on the product that was written within the last 12 months, and the results of a sample batch extrusion test. These will protect you in case the material is questioned when it is being inspected. Jiaobao gives you a test report, a certificate of conformity, and a report on the factory inspection. These are all the papers you need to turn in your project.
This is what every person who wants to buy a project needs to know about the process:
All of these things lower the risk of supply that causes projects to be late and cost more. You can protect both your timeline and your profit margin by confirming these requirements upfront with your supplier of acrylic sealant construction grade.

If procurement teams see field performance data, they can be sure that the specs of a product match what happens in the real world.
A regional home builder used Jiaobao's acrylic sealer on the inner window surround joints of a 240-unit apartment building. During the painting process, there were no touch-up calls because there was no vertical sag of 0mm. Painters said that water-based oil stuck to the surface within 24 hours of being applied. This cut the time it took to finish each floor by two days.
Construction-grade acrylic was wrapped around the edges of drywall track systems by a commercial fit-out contractor to make open-plan office walls less noisy. Sound tests after the partitions were up showed that they worked better when the track edges were properly sealed. This is in line with previous studies on how to seal air and lower sound transfer in lightweight partition systems.
Jiaobao's product has a sag degree of 0mm (standard: ≒3mm), a skin dry time of 0.5 hours (standard: ≒3 hours), an extrusion rate of 163 ml/min (standard: ≥80 ml/min), and a tensile strength of 0.64 MPa at 23°C, according to studies done by a third party. All of these numbers are higher than the lowest values set by JC/T 484 for the things that were tested.
It's both a technical and a financial choice to find the best indoor joint glue. Acrylic sealant construction grade is a construction-grade acrylic sealant that does not sag, cures quickly and can be painted over to make sure your project doesn't need to be redone or fails an inspection. The one-part RTV formula from Jiaobao is in line with JC/T 484 norms, comes in different amounts, and is backed up by full paperwork. Starting with a good product from a reputable maker will save you money in the long run, whether you are in charge of a single fit-out or a long-term supply contract for multiple sites.
This water-based liquid glue can be used in utility rooms and window screens, among other places inside that get wet from time to time. It's not meant to be used in places that are always wet or have a lot of wetness, like the shower. There is a better silicone solution that would work better in those cases.
The skin forms on the surface in thirty minutes when the temperature and humidity are normal (23°C and 50% RH). If you want to make sure the paint has had enough time to cure on the inside and not crack over a soft bead, wait 24 hours before adding latex or emulsion paint.
After being made, the food can be kept for a year. It should be between 5°C and 30°C, and the place should be cool and dry. Keep the cartridges and sausage packs out of direct sunlight. Do not get frozen.
Yes, Jiaobao gives you all the paperwork you need for a project report. For example, the production check records, the plant test report, and the proof of conformity are all included.
When Jiaobao first opened in 2013, they sold building supplies. They have ISO certification for their work, and the wait time is one to two weeks. You can buy a lot of acrylic sealer at a low cost from us because we only use high-quality materials and do all the paperwork ourselves.
